Care, Done Differently

We believe care should feel personal, not transactional.

Not assigned - matched.

At Sundry, we’re building a more thoughtful approach to care - one where families feel confident, caregivers feel valued, and every match is made with intention

Our Approach to Care

Intentional Matching

We focus on finding the right people, not just filling shifts. Every caregiver is selected based on personality, preferences, and care needs.

Trust and Consistency

Care works best when it feels stable and familiar. We prioritize consistency, comfort, and relationships that build over time.

Respect for Caregivers

We treat caregivers as professionals, not just labor. When caregivers are valued and supported, the quality of care improves for everyone.

Petroy Thompson

Founder

Sundry wasn’t built in a boardroom, it was built from real experience.

I grew up around care. The women in my family - mothers, aunts, and relatives - have spent years working as caregivers. I’ve seen the responsibility they carry, the trust families place in them, and the reality of how often that work goes undervalued.

At the same time, I saw the other side - families hoping they’d get “someone good,” without much control over who came into their home.

That gap stuck with me.

So I built Sundry around a simple idea:

care should be intentional, not random.

Today, I work alongside family and a growing team to create a better experience for both caregivers and families - one where people are matched thoughtfully, treated with respect, and supported every step of the way.
